Hey Tony, it's Tony
"I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge, that myth is more potent that history. I believe that dreams are more powerful than facts-- that hope always triumphs over experience-- that laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death"---- The Crow
The first time I met Tony Bossi I thought he was kinda strange. I was training him at the Crestwood AMC along with another fella named Nick. Tony really kept to himself at first, he did not talk much and he was quiet. Little did I know what he was going to become. Tony matured quickly at AMC. He was one of our top concessionists and projectionists before he left. He trained many other people and helped them learn as well. Tony made a lot of friends at AMC. To name a few, TJ Price, Khang Hong, Tim Meyer, Sue Young, Missy Cooper, and more. We were all inspired by Tony. His intelligence was endless. He was a great listener and above all, a true friend. I hung out with Tony on many occasions while we worked together. We have seen all kinds of movies together before they were released to the public. We even shared the same crush at one point.....Sue Young.
I remember telling Tony on many occasions that one day, he was going to do something really big. I didn't know what it was or when it was going to happen but I told him that whatever he did, he was going to touch a lot of people and that I wanted to be there by his side when it happened. In a way, I was right. Tony did do something really big and he did touch all of us deeply. Given the event that occured, I beleive that Tony would have wanted all of us to walk away with the wisdom of challenging our beliefs and opinions. Tony strived to challenge his beliefs so that he could create a better unserstanding of that which was his opinion. I think that Tony challenged all of us at one point or another and he would want us to continue thinking this way so that we too, can define ourselves.
Was it Love? Was it Hate? Was it despair? Was it Stress? Was it just too much? Was it not the right way? I am not going to spend the rest of my life trying to figure out why you did what you did Tony. Instead I am going to spend the rest of my life attempting to live like you did and like you will continue to do through everyone of us.
