From Aaron

Dearest Tony,

Remember High School? Remember how you would help me do my homework in homeroom so I'd have it done for class? Remember when I helped you with your game at the pool hall? When you and Blueberry helped each other to be better musicians? Throughout the years we have, the same way that all friends do, helped each other. Tony, do you have any idea how entirely helpless I felt watching that Hurst pull away?

I may be the first to admit this, but I am so Goddamn angry at you Tony. As I looked at the 2 hour line to see your casket, I could only think about how you couldn't have held on for just one of these people. If not for me then, Skwerly, if not for him, your brothers, parents, teachers, nobody was worth it?? I guess overall I am just confused as to how one of the brightest most upbeat kids gets in your position.

However as angry as I am, I still love you Tony. I will never forget performing with you at senior shows, laughing at school, shooting pool with you, or arguing about whatever it was that we wanted to argue about. You were an individual in the words most literal sense, a great student, son, and brother. But most of all Tony, you were a damn good friend, and I will never forget that.

Farewell Tony and I hope to see you on whatever other side you ended up on,

Most Sincerely your friend always,

Aaron Boyer
